1.4 Changes to these terms
We may change these terms at any time by updating this page. The version in force when you use the website applies. Please check this page from time to time.
1.5 Using our website
The website is made available free of charge. We do not guarantee that it, or any content on it, will always be available, uninterrupted or error-free. We may suspend, withdraw or restrict all or part of the website for business or operational reasons. You are responsible for making your own arrangements to access the website.
1.6 Information on this website is not professional advice
Content on this website — including articles, blogs, guides, cost information, price ranges, rates, calculators, free downloads, videos, webinars, event materials and social media content — is general information only. It is not a quotation, estimate, valuation, cost plan or professional advice, and it does not take account of your project, location, specification, market conditions or other circumstances.
You must not rely on it as a basis for any decision, budget, funding application, tender, contract or claim. Construction costs change frequently and any figures shown may be out of date. You should obtain professional advice specific to your circumstances before acting. Professional advice from us is only given under a written engagement, and our responsibility for it is set out in that engagement.
While we take reasonable care, we make no representation, warranty or guarantee, express or implied, that content on the website is accurate, complete or up to date.
1.7 Intellectual property
We, or our licensors, own all intellectual property rights in the website and its content, including text, graphics, logos, images, videos, templates, downloads and software. All rights are reserved.
You may view, print and download extracts of pages for your own reference, including use within your own business, provided you do not modify them and our status (and that of any identified contributors) as author is acknowledged. You must not, without our written permission:
- republish, sell, license, rent or redistribute any content;
- use any content, our name or our logos for a commercial purpose or in a way that suggests we endorse you;
- copy or adapt templates, guides or downloads for resale or for use with your own clients; or
- remove any copyright or other notice.
1.8 Text and data mining and AI training
We expressly reserve all rights in the website and its content against text and data mining, web scraping, and use to train, fine-tune, test or develop any artificial intelligence or machine learning system, unless we have given written permission. This reservation applies to all automated tools, bots and crawlers, and to any person acting for them.
1.9 Acceptable use
You may use the website only for lawful purposes. You must not:
- use it in any way that breaches any law or regulation, or is fraudulent or harmful;
- attempt to gain unauthorised access to the website, its server or any connected system, or attack it by denial-of-service or similar means;
- introduce viruses, malware or other harmful material;
- carry out systematic or automated data collection (scraping, harvesting, crawling or extraction) without our written consent;

We may suspend or block your access if we reasonably believe you have breached these terms. Attacks on the website may be a criminal offence and may be reported to the authorities.
1.10 Information and files you submit
When you submit information or files to us through the website (such as enquiries, drawings, plans, specifications, photographs or documents), you confirm that the information is accurate, that you are entitled to share it, and that sharing it does not breach anyone else’s rights or any confidentiality obligation.
You keep ownership of what you submit. You grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to use, copy, store and process it to respond to you, prepare quotations, and provide and administer our services, and for record keeping, quality and legal purposes. Our use of any personal data in it is explained in our Privacy Notice.
1.11 Reviews, comments and testimonials
If you post a review, comment or testimonial, it must be honest, reflect your genuine experience, and must not be defamatory, offensive, misleading or unlawful. We may moderate, decline or remove content that breaches these terms. We do not publish or commission fake reviews, and we do not offer incentives for positive reviews. Where an incentive is offered for a review of any kind, we will make that clear. You give us permission to display your review or testimonial on our website, marketing and social media, with your name or initials as you supplied them.
1.12 Links
Links to third-party websites are provided for information only. We have no control over those websites and are not responsible for their content, availability or privacy practices.
You may link to our home page in a way that is fair, legal and does not damage our reputation or suggest an association, approval or endorsement that does not exist. We may withdraw linking permission at any time.
1.13 Viruses and security
We do not guarantee that the website is secure or free from bugs or viruses. You should use your own virus protection software.
1.14 Our liability
Nothing in these terms excludes or limits our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for any other liability that cannot be excluded or limited by law.
If you are a business user: to the extent permitted by law, we exclude all conditions, warranties and representations that might otherwise apply to the website or its content. We will not be liable to you, whether in contract, tort (including negligence), breach of statutory duty or otherwise, arising from use of, or inability to use, the website, or reliance on any content on it. In particular, we will not be liable for loss of profits, revenue, business, contracts, anticipated savings, goodwill or data, or for any indirect or consequential loss.
If you are a consumer: we only provide the website for domestic and private use. We are not liable for any loss of profit, business, business interruption or business opportunity. If we fail to comply with these terms, we are responsible for loss or damage you suffer that is a foreseeable result of our breach or our failure to use reasonable care and skill. Nothing in these terms affects your statutory rights.
If defective digital content we supply damages a device or digital content belonging to you, we will either repair the damage or pay you compensation, unless the damage was caused by your failure to follow our instructions or to apply free updates.
1.15 Indemnity
If you are a business user, you agree to indemnify us against any claims, losses and costs arising from your breach of these terms or your submission of material that infringes another person’s rights.
1.16 General
Severability: if any part of these terms is found invalid or unenforceable, the rest remains in force.
No waiver: if we delay enforcing these terms, we can still enforce them later.
Third parties: no one other than you and us has any right to enforce these terms.
Transfer: we may transfer our rights and obligations under these terms to another organisation.
Entire terms: these terms, together with the documents referred to in section 1.3, are the entire terms between you and us about your use of the website.
1.17 Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms, and any dispute or claim arising out of or in connection with them or the website (including non-contractual disputes or claims), are governed by the law of England and Wales. The courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction, except that if you are a consumer living in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you may also bring proceedings in your local courts.
1.18 Contact us
To contact us about these terms, email info@bhangals.co.uk or write to us at our head office address above.
1.19 Promotions, vouchers, referrals and events
These terms apply to every offer we run, including vouchers, discount codes, referral rewards, free or discounted consultations, free downloads, competitions, giveaways, free events and webinars, and any similar offer (each a “promotion”). The promoter is Bhangals Construction Consultants Ltd. Any specific terms we publish with a promotion (for example a closing date, minimum spend or eligibility rule) apply as well, and take priority if they conflict with this section.
Eligibility. Promotions are open to people aged 18 or over and to businesses, in the UK, unless the promotion says otherwise. Our staff and associates may be excluded.
Vouchers and discounts. Unless the promotion says otherwise:
- one voucher or code per client and per instruction, for new instructions only, quoted when you instruct us;
- they cannot be combined with any other offer, exchanged for cash, transferred, sold or applied to work already instructed;
- they expire on the date shown or, if none is shown, 6 months after issue;
- any minimum fee or excluded services stated with the offer apply; and
- if an instruction is cancelled or refunded, the discount is not paid out in cash.
Referral rewards. Unless the promotion says otherwise, a reward is earned only when the person you refer is a new client who instructs us and pays in full for qualifying work, which is not cancelled or refunded. Rewards are issued within 30 days after that. You cannot refer yourself, someone in your own business, or someone you have not asked first. We may limit the number of rewards per person. You are responsible for any tax on rewards you receive. Referral arrangements with professional partners are governed by their separate written agreement.
Competitions and prize draws. Each competition or prize draw has its own rules, published with it, which set out how to enter, the closing date, the prize and how the winner is chosen.
Free events, webinars and downloads. Event places are limited and allocated on a first-come basis. We may change the content, speakers, date or format, or cancel an event; if we cancel, we will tell registered attendees as soon as we reasonably can. We are not responsible for travel or other costs. Events may be recorded, and we will tell you if they are. Event materials and free downloads are general information only (see section 1.6).
Changes and withdrawal. We may change, suspend or withdraw a promotion where reasonably necessary, for example because of an error, suspected misuse or circumstances beyond our control. This will not affect rewards or discounts already validly earned. We will give notice where reasonably possible.
Misuse and errors. We may refuse, cancel or recover any discount, voucher or reward obtained by fraud, misuse or breach of these terms. We do not have to honour a promotion that contains an obvious error.
Your data and your rights. We use personal data collected for a promotion as explained in our Privacy Notice. Nothing in this section affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
