How Our Consultants Helped
To begin this £600k project, our quantity surveyor used the client’s specifications to create a precise, detailed budget, ensuring that the vision for their property was financially viable. Through this, both our client and project manager will have a strict financial breakdown to work against, keeping the works within budget.
The biggest challenge when determining the logistics of this project was access. Due to the nature of residential streets in Knightsbridge, there was very little access to the property without obstructing the pathways directly outside. There was also no parking, which meant that our project manager in London needed to find alternative methods of delivering materials and ensuring that contractors could work efficiently.
Using their extensive knowledge, our project managers worked closely with the client to create a project scope that met the requirements of both the contractors and the local community.
This project is now well underway, and we are looking forward to seeing the end results! Our project managers will continue to communicate with the client throughout while overseeing operations on their behalf.
